Paschal G. Spurlock age 75 of Evening Shade died Thursday January 3, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born June 4, 1937 at Center, Arkansas to William Layton And Lula Carver Spurlock. He was a retired supervisor from White Rodgers in Batesville and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Johnnie L. Spurlock; one son, Dale Spurlock and one brother, Orvis Spurlock. Survivors include his wife, Donna Sue Spurlock of the home; one daughter, Renee Bailey of Evening Shade; three brothers, L. C. Spurlock of Cave City, Lonnie Spurlock of Heber Springs and Donzie Spurlock of Evening Shade; two sisters, Locogene Harrison of Pottsville and Darlene Felts of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Shannon Bailey of Paragould, Cori Perkey of Cave City and Sarah Colvin of Poughkeepsie; one great grandchild, Sydney Bailey of Paragould; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Monday January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with David Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday January 6, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Andy Spurlock, Vaden Spurlock, Shannon Bailey, L.C. Spurlock, Lonnie Spurlock and Donzie Spurlock.
