David “Butch” Colton age 67 of Batesville died Sunday January 20, 2013 at his home. He was born August 19, 1945 at Chicago, Illinois to William Fred and Catherine Mae Hagler Colton. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service as a Chief Warrant Officer. He also retired as a District Manager for Aramark Laundry in Reno, Nevada after 15 years of service. He was a member of the Cave City Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Samantha Colton. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Colton of the home; two daughters, Debra Colton of Reno, Nevada and Michelle Coromina of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Noah David Colton II of Vilonia; two brothers, Douglas Colton of Batesville and Buddy Colton of Sulphur Rock; one sister, Nancy England of Cave City; two grandchildren that he raised, Robert Forsyth and Kyle Forsyth both of Batesville and 14 other grandchildren, ;two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday January 24, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cave City Church of Christ in Cave City with Dean Fugett officiating. A reception will follow.
