Ronnie Owen Ward age 56 of Jacksonville died Sunday January 27, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born January 6, 1957 at Flint, Michigan to Tony and Joann Runyan Ward. Ronnie was gifted at the early age of 15 at buying and selling but his relationships with people were far more important than profit. Many became his lifelong friends. Ronnie possessed the rare gift of making everyone he met feel like the most important person on earth. Ronnie was a very giving person and helped many people when they were down and out He had a huge heart and when he walked in the room their would always be laughter. He was definitely the life of the party. Ronnie’s pride and joy was his daughter and granddaughters. He beamed with pride when talking about their accomplishments. He also enjoyed collecting die cast cars and guns. He enjoyed antiques and muscle cars. He was a member of the McArthur Church in Jacksonville. Survivors include one daughter, Shana Ward Hopper of Mountain Home; his mother, Joann Diebold of Phoenix, Arizona; his father, Tony Ward of Batesville; two brothers, Dennis Ward of Cabot and Phillip Ward of Clinton; one sister, Cathy Ward of Midwest, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Ally Hopper and Maggy Hopper both of Mountain Home; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Sunday February 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Rev. Jim Conyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Saturday February 2, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Mitch Ward, Brad Ward , Scott Perkey, Taylor Clark, Paul Runyan and William Runyan. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Conyers, Tracy Conyers, Gary Poskey, Stan Taylor, Jerry Ward, Kenny Ward and Sam Young.
