Carlos Edward Hogue age 55 of Cave City (formerly of Harrisburg) died Thursday February 7, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born January 22, 1958 at Harrisburg, Arkansas to Forrest Jefferson and Juanita Alred Hogue. He was a farm laborer in Harrisburg where he lived the majority of his life. He was a member of the Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lloyd Hogue. Survivors include his wife Peggy Boyd Hogue of the home; two sons, Carl Hogue of Paragould and Tony Williford of Truman; three daughters, Shannon Sams of Cave City, Misty Bailey of Minnesota and Teresa Cook of Paragould; five brothers, Lloyd Hogue of Bono, Bill Hogue of Searcy, Ray Hogue of Salisbury, Missouri, Bill Mason of Horseshoe Bend and Joe Hogue of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Kay Hogue Cooper of Saulsbury, Tennessee; twenty grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday February 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Sam Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Pallbearers are Christopher Furr, Michael Olinger, Joseph Olinger, Ron Sams, Dillin Sams, Joshua Williford, Thomas Cook and Archie Sams.
