Zettie Alpha Long

Zettie Alpha Long age 80 of Kensett (formerly of Cave City) died Saturday February 9, 2013 at a Searcy hospital. She was born July 18, 1932 at Sulligent, Alabama to Charles and Donna West Duncan. She was retired from Helena Regional Medical Center and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Johnny Paul Carter; eight brothers and sisters and one grandson, Bucky Carter. Survivors include three sons, Roy Carter of McRae, James Carter of Alabama and Delton Carter of Searcy; one daughter, Virginia King of Trumann; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Allen Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
