Seville Reed age 77 of Concord died Wednesday February 27, 2013 at his home. He was born July 11, 1935 at Almond, Arkansas to Albert Clee and Della Mae Kerlin Reed. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from White Rodgers in Batesville. He served many years on the Concord City Council and on the Concord Volunteer Fire Department. He was a 57 year member of First Baptist Church in Concord. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darrell Reed. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Annis Reed of the home; three sons, Shane Reed of Concord, Jason Reed and his wife Skyla of Concord; Daren Reed and his wife Karen of Greers Ferry; one sister, Sharon Plautz of Concord; nine grandchildren, Lacey Reed, Amelia Reed, Ethan Reed, Brittany Lenda, Megan Talley, William Plasencia, Alexandria Plasencia, Blanton Reed and Darrell Reed; two nieces and two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Concord with Bro. John Wofford officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery located at Concord with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Friday March 1, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Gary Bullard, Donnie J. Plautz, Kevin Looney, Mike Byrd, Greg Foreman and Daren Reed. Honorary pallbearers are Marshall Reed, Don Plautz, Kevin Bullard, Seth Brackett, Todd Foreman, Boyce Foreman, Adam Brackett, Chad Tapley, Kayle Sandefur, Dennis Allender and the Men’s Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Concord.
