Norman Kraiger age 75 of Cave City died Friday March 1, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born February 11, 1938 at Bangor, Michigan to Amos and Lillian Kraiger. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a retired truck driver and former owner of Norm’s Recreation Center in Cave City. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ricky Kraiger. Survivors include his wife, Rose Kraiger of the home; three sons, Tim Kraiger and Andy Kraiger both of Owosso, Michigan and Randy Kraiger of Orange Beach, Florida; two daughters, Angie Smart of Charlotte and Brenda Martens of Cave City; one sister, Lujean Bennett of Hartford, Michigan; six grandchildren, Sasha Cheshier of Batesville, Mashae Smart and Emma Smart both of Charlotte, Ashley Kraiger of Lansing Michigan, Matthew Kraiger and James Kraiger both of Owosso, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Monday March 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Monday March 4, 2013 from 12:00 noon until service time at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Randy Kraiger, Tim Kraiger, Andy Kraiger, Chad Smart, Tyler Martens and Kenny Townsley. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Martens, Allen Croy, Jarrod Shirley, Les Watts and Harrison Townsley.
