Audrey J. Roach

Audrey Roach age 92 of Sandtown died Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born October 16, 1920 at Cave City, Arkansas to E.M. and Georgeann Cathy Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pool’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at Sandtown. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Roach; three brothers, John Montgomery, Julius Montgomery and William Montgomery and five sisters, Bernice Story, Mildred Hastings, Molly Johnson, Alma Lassiter and Monell Roach. Survivors include one son, Calvin Mac Roach of Sandtown; four grandchildren, Michelle Shute, Eric Roach, Shayne Bagby and Danny Bagby all of Illinois; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday March 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Friday March 8, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Donald Hastings, Jeral Hastings, Dean Hastings, Calvin Ray Lassiter, Jim Nichols and Ed Turnbough. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Hastings and Paul Moser.
