Peggy Louise Wheeler

Peggy Martin Wheeler age 39 of Desha died Thursday March 28, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born December 28, 1973 at Memphis, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Johnson, Shelby Martin and Connie Joe Melton. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Wheeler of the home; two sons, Travis Wheeler and Ricky Wheeler both of Desha; her mother, Agnis Martin of Batesville; five sisters, Linda Wallis of Mt Pleasant, Carolyn Helms of Porter, Texas, Diann Willis of Sulphur Rock, Brenda Neeley of Desha and Dorothy Tharp of Desha; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Kenny Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Nail Cemetery located at Mt. Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Monday April 1, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be William Boatman, Larry Rupp, Randy Knight, Mike Knight, Stevie Knight, Wendell Lee, Bradley Grigsby and Justin Tharp. Honorary pallbearers are Lanny Looney and Daniel Jones.
