Lloyd Ray Conway Sr. age 75 of Evening Shade went home to rejoice with Jesus on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born January 19, 1938 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to John Clarence and Ollice Carrie Wade Conway. He was a retired body shop owner. Lloyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roy Conway, Troy Conway and infant brother, Ernest Conway all of Evening Shade; one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia Mae Conway Gulley and Daniel “Boone” Gulley of Witchita, Kansas. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Barbara Conway of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Twila and Brett Krick of Sarasota, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd Ray Conway Jr. and Regenia Conway of Evening Shade; one sister and brother-in-law, Allene and Al Kietzmann of Evening Shade; father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Juanita Britton of Judsonia; in laws, Audrey Conway, Joann Conway Sullivan, Jeanne and Mike Westerhof, Roger and Pat Britton, Gary and Patsy Britton, Connie Britton, Rick and Joyce Britton; five grandchildren, Matthew Krick and his wife, Laura of Newnan, Georgia, Amanda Sanders of Sarasota, Florida, Matthew Price of Columbus, Mississippi, Alexa Wetzler and Dasen Conway of Evening Shade; three great grandchildren, Sophia Krick, Haiden Price and Makayla Price; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday April 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village with Bro. Carl Higgs officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday April 5, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Charlie Kirby, Roger Delffs, Tony Vaughn, Donald Qualls, Bill Qualls and Howard Welch Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Arnold, Walter Arnold, J.C. Smith, Ronnie Qualls, Howard Welch Sr. and L.E. Vaughn.
