Annabel Bone Bowers age 92 of Batesville died Thursday April 4, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 30, 1920 at Batesville, Arkansas to Samuel Marcus and Rebecca Bost Bone. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.D. “Rooster’ Bowers; two brothers, Porter Bone and Marcus Ellis Bone and one sister, Madilen Bone Huddleston. Survivors include one son, Marcus Bowers of Batesville; one daughter, Georageann Hicks of Batesville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two nephews; one niece and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Monday April 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Bob Burton and Rev. Paul Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Robin Williams, James Swaims, Rn, Mario Moreno, Pat Bishop, Ethel Neeley, White River Medical Center 3rd Floor Staff and Woodlawn Nursing Home Staff.
