Etta (Momma Faye) Ashley age 70 of Cave City went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2013. She was born July 29, 1942 at Batesville, Arkansas to Olen and Syble Johnson Perkey. She was retired from Jeral Hastings Shelter Insurance Company where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Grant Wilson Smith. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Ashley of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karla Smith of the Calamine; two granddaughters, Kayla Smith of Calamine and Tasia Green of Pleasant Plains; one great grandson, Kaiden Green of Pleasant Plains; five sisters, Ola Landers, Geniave Felts, Carolyn McCracken and Becky Sisk all of Cave City and Venita Jackson of Batesville; one brother, Arbra Perkey of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday April 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson and Bro. Mike Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkey Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday April 11, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City. Pallbearers will be Charley Clinton, Aaron Cushman, Larry Johnson, Chad Johnson, Adam Landers, Richard Penn, Tony Perkey and Jimmy Dale Hastings. Honorary pallbearers are Marty Morgan, Scottie Perkey, Alton Stewart, Glen Medley, Mike Sisk and Jeral Hastings.
