Imogene Simmons age 83 of Cave City died Friday April 12, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 2, 1929 at Strawberry, Arkansas to William Ephraim and Ethel Davis Watson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastside Southern Baptist Church in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Simmons; one daughter, Ranotta Perry and two sisters, Dula Cooper and Barbara Conyers. Survivors include one granddaughter, Ranotta Jean Moser of Poughkeepsie; one great grandson, Alex Moser of Poughkeepsie; one brother, Bill Watson of Jonesboro; four sisters, Juanita Stalnaker of Baldwin, Missouri, Emma Rice of St. Peters, Missouri, Sue Mason of Walnut Ridge and Opal Mullen of Strawberry; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Monday April 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Kennard Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Monday April 15, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Mark Cooper, Jeremy Conyers, Daryl Sexton, Wayland Moser, Paul Mullen and Gene Rice.
