Elsie “Darlene” Foushee age 87 of Cave City died Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born May 27, 1925 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Lawrence Utah and Lillie Mae Richey Harris. She was a homemaker and a member of the Strawberry Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kendall Foushee; one infant son; one infant daughter and a brother, Darrell Harris. Survivors include one son, Wesley Foushee of Cave City; one sister, Wanda Hardin of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Keith Foushee of Newark, Melanie Foushee and Jason Foushee both of Harrison; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Keith Foushee, Chris Foushee, Kyle Foushee, Jason Foushee, William Downs and Bobby Smithee. Honorary pallbearers are the Recuperative Care Nursing Staff at White River Medical Center.
