Ethel Ann "Dooly" Yeager

Ethel Ann “Dooly” Yeager age 93 of Batesville died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Batesville. She was born June 29, 1919, at Bellville, Arkansas, to Dr. J.A. and Roxy Sugg Dooly. She was a graduate of Bellville High School and St. Mary’s Nursing School in Russellville. She had worked at Dr. Gray’s Hospital in Batesville as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.W. “Dub” Yeager; one brother, Jesse Dooly, and one sister, Edna Dooly Dacus. Survivors include three sons, J. Wesley Yeager III and wife Jeannette, Larry Don Yeager and wife Sylvia, and Andy Yeager all of Batesville; six grandchildren, Jackie Yeager Colclasure of Cabot, Brian Yeager and wife Tanya of Batesville, Brady Yeager and wife Tyler of Conway, Candace Yeager Clouse and husband Chris of Paragould, Gretchen Yeager of Paragould, and Wesley Yeager and wife Amy of Paragould; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Paul Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Brady Yeager, Brian Yeager, Will Carlile, Renee Julian, Garrett Yeager, and Roy Edward Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Manuel Conyers Sunday School Class, All Circle Members at Central Avenue United Methodist Church and Butch and Shawn Stephens.
