Helen Pierce Mason of Batesville died Monday, June 3, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born in Bethesda, Arkansas to Luther Andrew and Ella Wallace Burrow. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jubilee Family Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred Pierce; one brother, Olen Burrow, and one sister, Polly Pierce. Survivors include her husband, Curt Mason of the home; one son, Bradley Pierce of Pleasant Plains; one daughter, Lou Ann Fulbright of Batesville; four grandchildren, David Fulbright Jr. of Sulphur Rock, Lana McCarty of Batesville, Kyle Pierce of Pleasant Plains and Ryan Pierce of Batesville; two great grandchildren, Savannah McCarty and Haden Pierce both of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Tony Hammack officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery located near Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be David Fulbright Jr., Ryan Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Lynn McCarty, Mickey Bevel and David Blankenship.
