Mary Jane Brightwell age 80 of Jamestown passed away ,Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her home. She was born, April 29, 1933 at Cave City, Arkansas to Roy Elvin and Belvie Victoria Milligan Girtman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.D. Brightwell; three brothers, Coy Girtman, Ray Girtman and R.B. Girtman and a stepsister, Sybil Perkey. Survivors include one son, Johnny Brightwell of Cave City; two daughters, Judy Inman of Jamestown and Sue Johnson of Pleasant Plains; three sisters, Peggy Sandy of Little Rock, Agnes Beckum of Lynn and Elizabeth Deaton of Batesville; ten grandchildren, Julie Inman, Jessica McCollum, Kristen Trucks, Tiffany Hicks, Reagan Johnson, Aaron Brightwell, Tyler Brightwell, Summer Taylor, MacKenzie Clayton and Sidney Mohlke; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday June 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Sammy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery located at Locust Grove with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday June 6, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Mike Alexander, Trey Trucks, Mark McCollum, Michael Hicks, Aaron Brightwell and Tyler Brightwell. Honorary pallbearer is Elvin Girtman.
