Christopher Farris

Christopher Farris age 27 of Cave City died Friday June 21, 2013 at Cave City. He was born December 20, 1985 at Aurora, Illinois to Charles Daniel Farris Sr. and Debra Ann Pace Farris. He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed his children and family, hunting, fishing, rodeos and sports. He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Ida Ruth Farris Gann, Willie Osco Farris and Herman Gann. Survivors include his mother, Debra Pace Farris of Cave City; maternal grandparents, Golden and Joann Pace of Cave City; two sons, Christopher Lamar Farris II of North Carolina and Dakota Edward Chavers of Evening Shade; two daughters, Brooklyn Chavers and Briann Chavers both of Evening Shade; one brother, Charles Daniel Farris Jr. of Batesville and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Thursday June 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Ira Brokaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Weavers Chapel Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Wednesday June 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A dinner for family and friends will follow the service at Eastside Southern Baptist Church located on Hwy. 230 in Cave City.
