Loretta Reed

Loretta Reed age 69 of Cave City died Thursday June 27, 2013 at a Batesville hospital. She was born October 23, 1943 at Fort Rucker, Alabama to Eugene Warren and Dorothy Lea Gaines Whitaker. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donald Wayne Reed and one sister, Billie Jean Whitaker. Survivors include her husband James D. Reed of the home; three sons, David Whitaker of Alma, Edward Reed of London and Tony Reed of Cave City; two daughters, Donna Bell of Cave City and Billie Napier of Black Oak; two brothers, Seth Whitaker of Poughkeepsie and Robert Whitaker of Conway; twenty-two grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
