Carl Dudley Lockard

January 25, 1933 — July 27, 2013

Reverend Carl Dudley Lockard of Greenbrier, AR, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 80. He was born January 25, 1933, at Sunny Slope near Prim, AR. He was a retired Minister, had served as Pastor of several Churches in Arkansas throughout his ministry and was a current member of CrossPoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Dudley was also a Master Gardner, Certified Welder and Air Conditioner Technician. Dudley was preceded in death by his parents, Susie Mae (Chaffin) and Addie Lockard and his oldest sister, Opal Mae Lockard. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Texelda (Moody) Lockard; two daughters, Carla and husband Eddie Milligan of Maumelle, Kaye and husband Philip Standridge of Mt. Ida; two granddaughters, Amber Standridge and Hannah Milligan of Maumelle, two grandsons Cody and wife Amanda Standridge of Farmington, AR and Micah Milligan of Pensacola, FL., five sisters: Audrey Hipp of Prim, Wanda Gregory and Thelda Pryor both of Conway, Vada Martin of Heber Springs and Joyce Musselman of Vilonia,10 nieces, 12 nephews, his Church family and a multitude of friends, relatives and neighbors. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the CrossPoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Cross Roads Cemetery located at Greers Ferry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
