Edna Alene Green age 94 of Poughkeepsie died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Ash Flat. She was born July 27, 1919 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to William Calvin and Blanche Lee Green Medlock. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James C. Green; four brothers, James Albert Medlock, Alvin Hugh Medlock, Garrison Muriel Medlock and Jerry Braden Medlock; one sister, Allie Jane Tanner; one great grandson, Randy Miller and a son-in-law, Sherman Ables. Survivors include two daughters, Pansy Arnold of Evening Shade and Vickie Ables of Ash Flat; four grandchildren, Tim Arnold and Linda Miller both of Evening Shade, Braden Ables of Ash Flat and Latonya Austin of El Paso, AR; nine great grandchildren, Thomas Miller, Zackary Miller, Kaylee Ables, Blair Ables, Kaylen Ables, Kinley Austin, Hadley Austin, Jessica Poush and Amy Poush; six great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ with Troy Henley officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Pallbearers will be James Duncan, Larry McClure, Rob Simmers, Mike Medlock, Blair Ables and Braden Ables. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Medlock, Ken Medlock, Jerry Medlock, Johnny Medlock, Denny Boyd and Gary Duncan.
