Mary J. Walton

Mary J. Walton age 60 of Batesville died Thursday August 22, 2013 at a Batesville hospital. She was born March 22, 1953 at Batesville, Arkansas to Thomas Paul and Claudie Mae Qualls Long. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church at Bethesda. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tommy Dean Long. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Walton of the home; two sons, Robert Long and wife Nancy and Lee Walton and wife Karen all of Bethesda; two brothers, Johnny Paul Long of Arkadelphia and Bob Long of Rison; two sisters, Donna Rolins of Bethesda and Carolyn Galloway of Floral; seven grandchildren Ashton Walton, Random Long, Maggie Walton, Ian Long, Nathaniel Long and Allana Huckaba all of Bethesda and Braxton Smith of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Sunday August 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Campground Cemetery located at Bethesda with Bro. Bob Long officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday August 24, 2013 from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, nephews and nephew’s in law.
