Lila Faye Coe age 91 of Batesville died Friday September 13, 2013 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born May 12, 1922 at Mount Pleasant, Arkansas to Jesse Dean and Mollie Emma Conyers Hodge. She was a homemaker, had worked for Marshall’s Dry Goods, White Rodgers and Lanier’s Hatchery all in Batesville. She was most recently a Foster Grandparent at Sulphur Rock School. She was a member of West Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Lee Coe Jr.; four brothers, Ewell Hodge, Marshall Hodge, Verdell Hodge and Powell Hodge and two sisters, Claire Lindsey and Blanche Cason. Survivors include two sons, Charles Coe of Cave City and Randall Coe of Batesville; five grandchildren, Nicholas Coe of Tontitown, Stacey Britton of Cave City, Jessica Goff of Batesville, Sarah Wilkins of Bryant and Amy Breshears of Fort Meade, Maryland; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Goff and Maci Goff both of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located west of Cave City with Bro. Scotty Karber officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Turner, Gary Hodge, James Hodge, Thomas Coe, Junior Miller and Eric Britton.
