Clifton Spurlock

Clifton Spurlock age 74 of Center died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his home. He was born January 17, 1939 at Sitka, Arkansas to Raymond and Una Carver Spurlock. He was a retired cattle farmer and carpenter and a member of the Bettis Town Church of Christ at Center. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley Snyder Spurlock of the home; three daughters, Debbie Spurlock and Tammy Spurlock both of Center and Etha Denton and husband Danny of Poughkeepsie; one brother, Lyndell Spurlock of Katy, Texas; one sister, Carrie Lynn Davidson of Obin, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Dustin Denton and wife Ashley of Center, Crystal Hall and husband Jessie of Neelyville, Missouri and Brandy Wilson and husband Justin of West Plains, Missouri; one great granddaughter, Kindyl Dawn Denton of Center; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bettis Town Church of Christ located at Center with Harrell Davidson and C.C. Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery located at Center with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday September 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Danny Denton, Dustin Denton, Tommy Morgan, Kenny Snyder, Rodney Snyder and Ronnie Goings. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Kunkel, Danny Murphy, Noel Arnold and The Men of Bettis Town Church of Christ.
