Wanda Ruth Sylvester

Wanda Sylvester age 82 of Batesville died Monday, September 30, 2013 at a Batesville hospital. She was born April 15, 1931 at Pfeiffer, Arkansas to Joseph Jackson and Thelma Gladys Johnson Trent. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Sylvester. Survivors include one son, Kenny Manuel of Chula Vista, California; three daughters, Kathy Manuel of San Diego, California, Karen Johnston of Cave City and Karol Perkey of Sidney; one sister, Connie Watkins of Batesville; one stepson, Ron Moore of Batesville; three stepdaughters, Debbie Moore of San Diego, Lynn Mikesell of Eureka Springs and Robin Wright of Cave City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
