Martha E. Moore

Martha E. Moore age 86 of Pleasant Plains died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at a Searcy hospital. She was born June 30, 1927 at Memphis, Tennessee to Thomas Alex and Iva Hays O’Dell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Banner Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Moore; one son, Morris David Hubbs Jr. and six brothers, Sidney O’Dell, Perry O’Dell, Clyde O’Dell, Cecil O’Dell, Fred O’Dell and Edward O’Dell. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Cheatham of Russellville and Priscilla Burress of Pleasant Plains; six grandchildren, Tanya Roberson of Russellville, Keven Burress of Little Rock, Kristi Whitener of Maumelle, Amanda Behymer of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Andy Hubbs of Brookland and Aaron Hubbs of Hiawatha, Iowa; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Joe Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Sunday October 20, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Damon Whitener, Brent Henderson, Scott Gay, John O’Dell, Joe O’Dell and Royal D. Burress. Honorary pallbearer is Kevin Parks.
