Sue Johnson

Sue Johnson age 54 of Pleasant Plains died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her home. She was born June 17, 1959 at Batesville, Arkansas to Alden Dale and Mary Jane (Girtman) Brightwell. She was co-owner of Tim Johnson Janitorial Service and a member of the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, especially on Thursday mornings with the Ladies League in Batesville. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Tim Johnson of the home; three daughters, Regan Johnson of the home, Tiffany Hicks and husband Michael of San Antonio, Texas and Kristen Trucks and husband, Trey of Batesville; one brother, Johnny Brightwell of Cave City; one sister, Judy Inman of Jamestown; three grandchildren, Bo Trucks, Tyson Trucks and Abby Trucks all of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Locust Grove with Bro. Sammy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Michael Davis, Mark Davis, Rodney Stubbs, Derek Stubbs, Mike Alexander and Aaron Brightwell. Honorary pallbearers are the Men of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
