Dorothy Hilda Gersch Lemon age 90 of Southside died Friday, November 8, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born February 25, 1923 at Brookhaven, Mississippi to Wm. Gersch and Lethia Case Gersch. She was retired from International Paper in Bastrop, Louisiana and was a member of the Southside United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Frank Lemon; one son William James Lemon and one brother, W.J. Gersch. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Baxter and her husband, Deaun of Southside; a daughter-in-law, Carol Zito Lemon of South Park, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Claire Pruitt and husband Tim of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two great grandchildren, Hunter Pruitt and Emma Pruitt both of Olive Branch, Mississippi; step-grandchildren, John, Michael, Danielle, Will, Nick, and Jake Frechione of South Park, Pennsylvania, Sissy and Rick Wilson of Batesville M’Shay Moore of Batesville, Morgan Isley of Batesville, Scott, Tracy, Hannah and Hayden Baxter of Batesville and Shelly Baxter of Batesville. Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Southside United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Pierce officiating. A private burial will be at the Egner Cemetery at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 1 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Southside United Methodist Church.
