Cloyce Naomi Wilcox age 82 of Batesville died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born December 29, 1930 at Searcy, Arkansas to Theodore and Ina (Meharg) Beaver. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and a member of the Roosevelt Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Alvin Wilcox; one son, Dwayne Wilcox; one brother, Carl Beaver; a brother-in-law, Carl Wood and a step-grandson, Aaron King. Survivors include one daughter, Carol King and husband Harvey “Blue” King of Judsonia; one sister, Velma Wood of Pleasant Plains; ten grandchildren, Lori Helm and husband Chris of Sidney, Jennifer Sample of Newport, Michael Wilcox of Phoenix, Arizona, Jason Wilcox of Fort Benning, Georgia, Tyler Martin of Judsonia, Savannah Helm of Sidney, Alex Horton of Hot Springs, Luke Helm of Sidney, Trevor Horton of Judsonia and Kaydence Martin of Judsonia; step grandchildren; Shane King and wife Trish, Kathryn King, Allison King, Madison King and Tristen King all of Oil Trough; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Missionary Baptist Church located in Roosevelt. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located near Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tyler Martin, Alex Horton, Trevor Horton, Chris Helm, Luke Helm and Dustin Brashers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Ring, Troy Ring, Jason Wilcox, Dillan England and Jerry Lindsey.
