Gracie L. Jones

Gracie L. Jones age 86 of Batesville died Monday, November 25, 2013 at a Batesville hospital. She was born October 21, 1927 at Wichita, Kansas to George and Grace French Hoenscheidt. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Dwayne Jones and two brothers, Robert Hoenscheidt and Earl Howard. Survivors include her husband, Mylus Dwayne Jones of the home; two sons, Frank Jones of Batesville and Mike Jones of Cave City; one sister, Mary Petersen of Plant City, Florida; five grandchildren, Angie Cannon and Valerie Wheeling both of Sage, Tony Jones and Ronnie Jones both of Batesville and Heather Stauffer of Cave City; four great grandchildren, Megan Cannon of Sage, Jadyn Stauffer, Kaylee Stauffer and Hailyn Stauffer all of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro.Ben Ryan and Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be John Clements, Lonnie Shrum, Larry Crafton, Doyle Clouse, Lynn Bachman and Jerry Osborne. Honorary pallbearers are Vaughn Ruminer, Zelph Rush and John Richardson.
