Barbara Lou “Bobby-Bob” Starns Boshears age 77 died Friday, December 6, 2013 at Crown Point Health and Rehab in Horseshoe Bend. She was born June 18, 1936 at Peach Orchard, Arkansas to Louis Henry and Cynthia Mae Adams Starns. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and fishing and was of the Full Gospel faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mona Rae Smith; one son, Jimmie Ray Smith Jr.; two brothers, James Starns and Charles Starns; four sisters, Opal Snow, Mavis Gene Starns Parsons, Marie Davis and Lucille Hampton. Survivors include nine daughters, Jeanie Smith(Steve) of Springtown, Texas, Rose Lightner (Richard) of Fort Worth, Texas, Eva Luster of Bethesda, Peggy Mooreland (Tim) of Graham, Texas, Sadie Palmer (Ron) of Bald Knob, Cindi Griffin (Micah) of Mt. Pleasant, Janis Franks (Tony) of Batesville, Debi Harrison (Roy) of Cave City and Audrey Holowell (Wade) of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Sadie Hoke; one brother, John Starns; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bruce Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Barbara Boshears Memorial Fund c/o Cindi Grifffin at the Citizens Bank of Batesville to help with funeral expenses.
