Larry D. Melton

Larry D. Melton age 58 of Batesville died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his home. He was born July 30, 1955 at Fort Smith, Arkansas to Melvin Grady and Alma Margaret Pipkin Melton. He worked for Intimidator Inc. in Batesville, was a loving husband, father and brother and loved every aspect of life. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dwight Melton. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Melton of the home; one son, Larry D. Melton Jr.; four daughters, Angie Melton and Penny Melton both of Louisiana, Felicia Ann Melton and Deanna Marie Melton both of Southside; one brother, Stan Harris of Texas; two sisters, Gloria Rakestraw of Wichita, Kansas and Janet Mora of Douglas, Kansas; two grandchildren, Arabella Jaylynn McDonald and Casey Dale McDonald both of Southside; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at the new Bad Boy facility in Batesville. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
