Mary "Mert" Matlock

Mary “Mert” Matlock age 69 of Cave City died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Cave City. She was born September 2, 1944 at Cave City, Arkansas to Dattie and Ruth Kerr Wooldridge. She was a homemaker and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald “Sonny” Wooldridge and Danny Wooldridge. Survivors include her husband, Vaughn Matlock of the home; two daughters, Angie Womack and Jody Hawkins both of Cave City; two sisters, Becky Anderson of Batesville and Carolyn Mobley of Kirkwood, Missouri; two grandchildren, Dane Womack of Durham, North Carolina and Corey Womack of Los Angeles, California; one great granddaughter, Edith Jane Womack of Durham, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church located at Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery located at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Chad Wooldridge, Rustin Wooldridge, Curt Wooldridge, Carson Day, Paden Day and Tim Mobley.
