Pauline Curtis age 46 of Evening Shade died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Cave City. She was born January 16, 1967 at Waukesha, Wisconsin to Norman John Schmidt Sr. and Sandra Knappenberger Schmidt. She had worked at ConAgra Foods in Batesville. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cave City where she served as secretary and treasurer. She enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Harold Stuntz and one sister, Veda Boles. Survivors include one son, Joshua Blevins of Evening Shade; her mother, Sandra Stuntz of Cave City; her father, Norman Schmidt Sr. of Wisconsin; two brothers, Norman John Schmidt Jr. of Black Rock and Jason Stuntz of Poughkeepsie; one sister, Deanna Tillery of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Baptist Church located at Cave City with Bro. Ron Skaggs and Bro. Mitchell Kazee officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located north of Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Wooldridge, David Stuntz, James Smith, Paul Stuntz, Mike Miller and Ronnie Elms.
