Hoyt D. Linker age 75 of Poughkeepsie (formerly of North Little Rock) went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Cave City. He was born January 18, 1939 at Russellville, Arkansas to Woodberry Williamson and Betty Lou Brown Linker. He was retired from Wonder Bread in Little Rock and a retired Arkansas Army National Guard veteran. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Millie Sue Linker. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Linker of the home; three sons, Tim Linker and his wife Kim of Bryant, Jeff Linker and his wife Valerie of North Little Rock and Chris Linker of Jacksonville;two stepsons, Stephen Turnage and his wife Darla of North Little Rock and Timothy Turnage of Hot Springs; two sisters, Gretta Sue Roberts of Sherwood and Sharon Kay Clark of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Ryan Linker and Madison Linker both of Bryant and Daulton Linker and Sloan Linker both of North Little Rock;two step grandsons, Caleb Turnage and Noah Turnage both of North Little Rock; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Graveside services will follow at Ball Hill Cemetery at Russellville at 3:00 p.m. with Tom Underhill officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
