Loyce Chalker

Loyce Chalker of Batesville died Friday, February 7, 2014 at Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home in Batesville. She was born at Sidney, Arkansas to Vertie Mullins. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her husband Jewell Chalker and her mother, Vertie Mullins. Survivors include two sons, Jim Chalker and wife Vickie of Brentwood, Tennessee and Rick Chalker and wife Mary of Mercer Island, Washington; three granddaughters, Stephanie Boucherle of Charlotte, North Carolina, Susan Chalker of Seattle, Washington and Julia Chalker of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Justin Ledbetter officiating. Private graveside services will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church , 615 E. Main St., Batesville, AR 72501
