Scotty Lynn Downs

Scotty Lynn Downs age 55 of Cave City died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Judsonia, Arkansas. He was born March 9, 1958 at Batesville, Arkansas to William J. and Betty Ruth (Dew) Downs. He worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Searcy and attended Cave Creek Church of God. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eddie Wayne and Mary Lou Downs and maternal grandparents, Theodore and Myrtle Dew. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lyn Downs of Cave City; his parents, William J. and Betty Ruth Downs of Cave City; three brothers, Douglas Downs, Kelvin Downs and William B. Downs all of Batesville; one grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bob Majors officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnett Cemetery located near Sandtown with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Snider, John Nash, Frank Carnett, Junior Hawkins, Jimmy Varner and Kevin Bristow. Honorary pallbearer is David King.
