Samuel Travis Anderson age 35 of Batesville died Thursday, February 13, 2014. He was born January 24, 1979 at Searcy, Arkansas to Leroy and Diann James Anderson. He was a river boat worker for Florida Marine and enjoyed woodworking and the outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cornelius and Becky Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Marina Anderson; his parents, Leroy and Diann Anderson of Batesville; two sisters, Cindy Story of Morrilton and Carmen Duncan of Batesville; his maternal grandparents, E.L. and Lottie James of Bradford; two stepsons, Brandon Telford and Weston Telford both of Batesville; one step-daughter, Tiffiny Telford of Batesville; three nephews, Brayden Duncan, Jeremiah Story and Dalton Story; two nieces, Charity Story and Jaylin Duncan and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, February 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Michael Parmley and Bro. Richard Nuckolls officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brandon Telford, Weston Telford, Jason Duncan, Heath Duncan, Steven James and Freddie Shaw.
