Cheryl Doyle Burrus

Cheryl Doyle Burrus age 44 of Evening Shade died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. She was born June 19, 1969 in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Eddie and Ann Doyle. She was a CNA and a homemaker. She enjoyed painting and gardening. She was a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church located at Saffell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Horace Doyle, Lorene Doyle Sullivan and Earnest and Vergie Doyle. Survivors include her husband, Chris Burrus of the home; two sons, Curtis Burks of Alicia and Jonathan Burrus of Wiseman; one daughter, Cara Doyle of Strawberry; one brother, Jody Doyle of Strawberry; one sister, Gayla Ann Dingman of Strawberry; one granddaughter, Katelynn Mashburn of Daytona, Florida; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Stanley Vandergrift, Dr. Jim Chambers and Bro. R.J. Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jody Doyle, Jason Stuntz, Curtis Burks, Brad Webb, Patrick Lee, Arlis Lee III, John Reed and Darrell Burcham. Honorary pallbearer is Kenny Dingman.
