Gene “Leon” Reynolds age 73 of Cave City died Friday March 21, 2014 at his home. He was born May 25, 1940 at Batesville, Arkansas to Charles Richmond and Pearl Jewell (Justice) Reynolds. He was retired from ConAgra Foods in Batesville and was a member of First Faith Pentecostal Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Monroe Reynolds and one sister, Gladys Barnett. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Olene Reynolds of the home; two sons, Charles Reynolds and Mark Reynolds both of Cave City; two daughters, Rita Martin and Ashley Harris both of Cave City; one brother, Cecil Reynolds of Batesville; six grandchildren, Tabitha Goodman, Robin Spinks, Jessica Reynolds, Ryan Martin, Brooke Reynolds and Torence Reynolds; eight great grandchildren, Addyson Goodman, Rilynn Goodman, Halle Spinks, Zackary Spinks, Tucker Spinks, Baylyn Martin, Presley Boozer and Shaylei Ford; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro Caleb Harris and Bro. Steven Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located at Sandtown with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dale Barnett, Ryan Martin, Blake Goodman, Caleb Spinks, Stephen Ganus and Matt Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers are Denny Polston, James Reynolds, Bill Reynolds and Chris Reynolds.
