Lucille Presley age 84 of Desha died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her home. She was born February 15, 1930 at Cedar Grove, Arkansas to Albert F. and Louella Polston James. She worked at International Shoe Factory in Batesville for several years and retired from White Rodgers in Batesville. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Southside. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, her children and grandchildren and Razorback Basketball.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Presley; one son, Robert Lynn Presley; one brother, Don James; and four sisters, Mildred James, Lorene Mobley, Beulah Hubbard and Billie Severs.  Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Rushing and husband John of Gate City, Virginia, Linda Wackerly and husband Johnny of Batesville and Karen Presley of Desha; three grandchildren, John Robert Wackerly of Rochester, Minnesota, Randi Pickle of Asheville, North Carolina and Jodie Young of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; eight great grandchildren, Clemmie Taylor, Maelee Taylor, Elijah Gordon, Darby Pickle, Dixie Pickle, Greyson Hurst, Giselle Wackerly and Cruz Wackerly; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderbrook Cemetery located at Desha with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.  Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Roy Jeffery, Sheldon Thorne, Keith Harmon, Gordon Harmon, Terry Presley and Tim McKay.  Honorary pallbearers are Rocky Sutton, Bobby Keener, James Roach, Bob Barnett, Larry Cook, Willie Cook, Dr. Muhammad Khan and the staff at Batesville Oncology and Dr. Homer Brooks and staff.
