Raymond G. Hill age 93 of Bethesda, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville with his wife, daughters, family and friends around him. He was born in Buffalo City, Arkansas on May 10, 1920 to Allen B. and Abigail (Warren) Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Hester Hill, A.B. Hill and Buddy Hill as well as two sisters, Lilly Sewell and Mabel Hartney. On October 28, 1946, he married Beatrice Maxine (Rogers) Hill and shared 67 years with her. He has one son, Freddy Hill deceased April 2005, and four daughters, Jeanie (Hill) Pennington, married to Dean residing in St. Hedwig, Texas; Janice (Hill) Green married to Wesley residing in Lawrence, Kansas; Brenda (Hill) Tate-Lee married to Ed residing in Little Rock and Melissa (Hill) Toburen married to Kenneth residing in Mabelvale. He was a veteran of WWII and a retired employee of Banquet Frozen Foods. He was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Batesville for the past 45 years. He also leaves 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Pa, Pepaw and Grandpa Chicken Farm to his family. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Batesville with Rev. David Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Tate-Lee, Dean Pennington II, Wesley Green, David Pleasant, Kenneth Toburen and Ed Tate-Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Pleasant, Bobby Green, Troy Pennington, Dean Pennington and Mike Brennan.
