Rocco "Rocky" Villari Sr.

Rocco “Rocky” Villari Sr. age 78 of Evening Shade died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. He was born February 3, 1936 at Hammonton, New Jersey to Samuel and Mamie (Rosano) Villari. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and retired from Owens Corning in Berlin, New Jersey. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Samuel Villari and one sister, Sandra Villari. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lorraine Mayes Villari of the home; one son, Rocco Villari Jr. and wife Kim of Washington Township, New Jersey; one daughter, Barbara Villari-Peters and husband Mike of Pine Hill, New Jersey; one brother, Peter Villari of West Berlin, New Jersey; three sisters, Rosie Lepera of Newport Richie, Florida, Margaret Ebinger and Anna Mae Pratzner both of Hammonton, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Andy Villari of Evening Shade, Nichole Villari of Washington Township, New Jersey, Anthony Villari of Pine Hill, New Jersey and Rocco Villari III of Washington Township, New Jersey; two great grandchildren, Jody Dorris and Makayla Dorris of both Evening Shade; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Evening Shade with Bro. Larry Weaver and Pastor John Finn officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City No visitation is planned. Memorial services will also be held at a later date in New Jersey. Honorary pallbearers are Andy Villari, Anthony Villari, Rocky Villari III, Peter Villari, Reed Avey and Mike Pratzner.
