Barbara Carolyn (Hutchison) Rogers

Barbara Carolyn (Hutchison) Rogers age 63 of Pocahontas died Wednesday May 14, 2014 at a Jonesboro hospital. She was born August 18, 1950 at Batesville, Arkansas to Walter B. and Hallie Lorene (Palmer) Hutchison. She was a homemaker and had worked as customer service manager for Arkansas Lime in Batesville for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter B. Hutchison; her husband, Billy J. Rogers; one son, B.J. Rogers; one brother, David Hutchison and one sister, Linda Hutchison. Survivors include one son, Aaron W. Rogers of Pocahontas; her mother, Lorene Hutchison of Batesville; five brothers, Wayne Hutchison of Georgia, Marcus Hutchison of Russellville, Allen Hutchison, Jimmy Hutchison and Stacey Hutchison all of Batesville; one sister, Carlene Morrison of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Ryan Downs officiating and Aaron Rogers presenting the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Donald Palmer, Ronald Palmer, Randy Palmer, Johnny Barnett, Tim Palmer, Jason Palmer, Michael Palmer and Paul Don Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Preston Goodman and Raymond Barnett.
