Earl Guinn Franks age 73 of Cushman died Monday, June 9, 2014 at his home. He was born April 15, 1941 at Diaz, Arkansas to Billy Guinn and Mary Elizabeth (Wyiott) Franks. He was a retired master electrician and heating and air technician. He was a ordained minister and served several years in jail ministry. He was a member of the Cushman Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry Franks and Gary Franks; one sister, Betty Franks and one grandson, David Allen Russell. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Franks of the home; one son, Bobby Franks and wife Tina of Cushman; three daughters, Joy Russell and husband David of Cave City, Lisa Holloway and husband Jeff of Batesville and Peggy Talley and husband David of Salado; six grandchildren, Brandy Russell, Ashley Russell, Jeffery Holloway, Jessica Holloway, Dakota Franks and Darrion Franks; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Chick Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Taylor, Rodney Pugh, Billy Bass, Adam Fitzsimmons, Danny Neal and Greg Holloway. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.
