Snodie Ferguson age 93 of Batesville died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born April 20, 1921 at Saddle, Arkansas to Robert Lee and Joann Benton Ferguson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Desha Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dick V. Ferguson; three brothers, Roy Ferguson, Fred Ferguson and Jack Ferguson and six sisters, Ethel Muchow, Pauline Miller, Cecil Orr, Iva Nix, Jessie Pulley and Lois Howard. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Younger and husband Bill of Mount Pleasant; two granddaughters, Lauren Conn and husband Rob of Bentonville and Erin Younger of Fayetteville; one great grandson, Quinn Conn of Bentonville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Tom German officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery located at Mount Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jessie Reynolds, Bob Younger, Noel Baldridge, Bill Runsick, Collie Shaw and Cole Sample.
