Lorene Hutchison

Lorene Hutchison age 83 of the Cave Creek Community died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at a Little Rock hospital. She was born January 8, 1931 at Batesville to Amos and Estella Cummings Palmer. She was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed birds, flowers and geneaology. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marvin Palmer and Conway Palmer; one sister, Gladys Palmer; two daughters, Linda Sue Hutchison and Barbara Carolyn Rogers; one son Amos David Hutchison; a son-in-law, Billy Joe Rogers and a grandson, B.J. Rogers. Survivors include one daughter, Carlene Morrison and husband Randy of Batesville; three sons, Wayne Hutchison of McCaysville, Georgia, Allen Hutchison and Wife Gay of Batesville and Jimmy Hutchison of Batesville; three grandsons, Aaron Rogers of Pocahontas, Joshua Morrison of Batesville and Joseph Morrison of Conway; five granddaughters, Jenifer Lee and husband Jason , Wendy Coons and husband Billy all of North Carolina, Cortney Hooker and husband Mike of Maricopa, Arizona, Delanie McLeod of Batesville and Carisa Downs and husband Ryan of Batesville; four great grandsons, Jeremy Morrison of Batesville, Caleb Lee and Billy Wayne Coons of North Carolina and James Hooker of Maricopa, Arizona; one sister, Vada Barnett of Batesville; two brothers, Carl Palmer and wife Betty of Lonoke and Gerald Palmer and wife Sharon of Poughkeepsie; several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eddie Downs, Jimmy Downs, John Downs, Daniel Wilkes, Jeffery Wilkes and Calvin Roach. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Reves, Michael Reves and David Roberson.
