James R. “Rich” Kidwell age 67 of Cave City, Arkansas (formerly of Remsen, New York) died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at a Little Rock hospital. He was born February 11, 1947 at Uniontown, Pennsylvania to James Frank and Naomi Robinson Kidwell. He was a retired homebuilder. He was U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam in the Central Highlands and fought in the Tet Offensive. He attended the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Karen Murphy Kidwell;a twin brother, James Ricky Kidwell and one sister, Rita Kidwell Turco. Survivors include one son, Zachary Kidwell of North Carolina; two daughters, Alison Kidwell Cunningham and her husband Doug of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and Tiffany Kidwell of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one sister, Robin Kidwell Irving and husband John of Cassville, New York; two grandchildren, Abby Cunningham and Dougie Cunningham of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Darrell Turco of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; special friends, Leah McBryde, Mazelle McBryde and Bill McBryde of the home; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairchild Cemetery located in Remsen, New York with arrangements by Ackley- Mills Funeral Home of Remsen, New York. Visitation will be Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Ackley- Mills Funeral Home, 9597 Main St., Remsen, New York, 13438.
