Glenda Nelson Carlton age 75 of Cave City died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her home. She was born March 15, 1939 at Ruddell Hill, Arkansas to Ellis and Opal Ethel (Clark) Nelson. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Ronald Carlton; two brothers, E.J. Nelson and Kenneth Nelson and two sisters, Maxine Nelson and Linda Sue Nelson. Survivors include one son, Ronald Carlton and his wife Karen of Cave City; two daughters, Linda Moore of Batesville and Brenda Reynolds and husband Steve of Ward; eight grandchildren, Wendy Pappas of Arlington, Texas, Chris Reynolds of Ward, Bryan Hatfield of Strawberry, Michael Carlton of Mountain Home, Keith Reynolds of Dallas, Texas, Samantha Carlton of Batesville, Cody Reynolds of Ward and Trey Moore of Batesville; two great grandchildren, Alma Fleeman of Arlington, Texas and Mikayla Carlton of White Hall; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
