Pauline Mobley Christenberry age 96 of Smithville died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at a Cave City nursing home. She was born February 2, 1918 at Cave City, Arkansas to Homer and Cecile “ Brown” Mobley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband James Jewel Christenberry, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, James and wife Donna Christenberry of Benton, Arkansas, Wayne and wife Lew Christenberry of Smithville, Arkansas, one sister Jean Brock of Concord, Arkansas, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Vance Penn officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Pallbearers are Ronald Mobley, Kenneth Edwardson, Billy Horton, Danny Hobby, Paul Christenberry and Phillip Christenberry. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Lewis and Mack King.
